Learning Designer - Support Office

At CVS we are one of the largest integrated veterinary groups in Europe with a turnover in excess of £425M, more than 7000 employees and over 500 veterinary practice sites across the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. Our Learning, Education & Development (LED) Team is dedicated to help CVS employees with their learning journey with our industry leading online learning platform, called Knowledge Hub. We believe that individuals differ in their learning requirements and hence offer a huge range of online and face-to-face learning opportunities to match people's needs, according to their personal preference and individual learning style.

 

We are looking for a Learning Designer to join our LED team to create fresh, dynamic content!

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Create innovative and high-quality courses with a truly interactive and engaging look and feel.
  • Revamping existing learning material and resources to improve the learner journey and overall learning experience.
  • Support the Head of Learning Design to achieve targets and deliver desired results.
  • Assisting the Head of Learning design to act on collated feedback from existing courses to ensure constant improvement of learning material.
  • Assisting in the development of key members of the CVS team to be able to support the creation and maintenance of e-learning provision.
  • Be proactive – identify challenges and opportunities before they occur and act upon them.

 

Essential skills

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience.
  • Thorough and current knowledge of design techniques and experience of designing digital based learning using Articulate 360.
  • Creative flair in graphic design to create clear and informative assets using Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Working efficiently with learning partners and subject matter experts from different backgrounds and with different agendas to achieve the best possible outcome.
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to effectively manage a varied workload, sometimes with conflicting priorities.

Location: The role will be home based, however, will involve travel to our support office in Diss.
