The Cert AVP Programme is a flexible postgraduate veterinary qualification that has been designed to allow you to choose your preference on the areas you study – whether than be a general CertAVP qualification or a designated certificate in a particular specialism. We work with Liverpool University to provide our vets with the support they need throughout their modules.
We currently offer a small number of residencies in our Referral and Laboratory Divisions.
We offer internships each year within our Referral Veterinary Hospitals and Equine Division.
We offer training to help our practice teams understand the new PSS, how to prepare your practice, what the inspector will do on the day and where to find checklists and guidance.
We also offer focussed training in conjunction with a number of key partners in order for our practices to gain extra points on the Practice Standards Scheme and work towards the Client Service Award.
For vets, specialists and nurses we offer external CPD support and annual allowances (for vets and specialists).
We offer a wide range of EMS placements across our practices in the UK and on many occasions, students who have visited us for EMS have gone on to join the CVS New Graduate Programme.
The CVS New Graduate Programme is a complete CPD and pastoral programme designed to support you in your first two years of practice. We currently employ circa 100 new graduates each year and with our wide range of practices across the UK, including Northern Ireland, there’s a practice to suit everyone, from large 24 hour hospitals to small community practices.
We offer a wide variety of student nurse opportunities each year across all of our accredited training practices.
We are proud to be able to offer a large variety of specific training courses to allow colleagues in the laboratory division to gain additional qualifications relevant to their work.
