We have an exciting opportunity available for a 2nd Year Student Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Robert Jones Vets.

We are relocating to a brand new, purpose-built practice soon, so this is a very exciting time to join us.

We are looking for an individual who possesses great communication skills, is passionate about promoting exceptional animal care and enjoys working in a team environment.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. The hours are flexible depending on your college day/s.

Duties will include, but are not limited to - nurse consults, anaesthetics and reception work.

The practice is encouraged to ensure that the potential SVN has the relevant qualifications to register for training, and at present the Veterinary Nursing Requirements are: -

• Minimum 5 GCSE'S C grade or above/grade 9-4 including English, Maths & Science subject
• If you do not hold the specified entry requirements, some alternative qualifications are accepted. For example, in absence of Science GCSE a level 2 Veterinary Nurse Assistant course would be accepted
• Similarly, level 2 functional skills in English and Maths are also accepted as an alternative for GCSE'S. Alternative are subject to RCVS and college approval
