We are looking for a New Graduate veterinary surgeon to join us at Alnorthumbria Veterinary Group. We are an RCVS accredited practice, with 9 sites based in Northumberland.
Your New Practice: We are a well-equipped small animal practice, with an in house laboratory, digital x-ray and ultrasound facilities. Alnorthumbria Veterinary Group is a friendly practice, with vets and nurses who will support you in your role.
Your New Role: You will be working 5 days per a week and on call, on a 1 in 8 week nights (Mon – Thurs) and 1 in 11 Weekends (Fri – Sun) rota, with 2 days off in lieu of working weekends. The successful candidate will have support from experienced vets day and night to ensure the transition from student to veterinary surgeon is as easy and enjoyable as possible.
What you need to succeed: E.M.S. experience in a similar role and practice environment will be key to your success. Some experience in completing cat and dog neuters with minimal supervision essential. You will have a strong work ethic and the desire to deliver exceptional client service and develop your veterinary skills
