Experienced Stud Vet - Bell Equine

Practice Site:
  • Bell Equine

Bell Equine

Bell Equine is seeking an experienced stud vet for the 2024 season, initially from April through to August, with the potential for this to become a permanent role.

The caseload would mainly consist of chilled and frozen inseminations, natural cover, embryo transfer in addition to neonatal foal care at our yards.

Bell Equine has developed a strong and varied reproductive caseload with a significant majority being managed at our clinic and supported by our specific stud team. This position would suit someone with at least 3 years of stud work experience working alongside our current reproductive team.  Salary would be based on experience and qualifications.

We have no OOH thanks to Equicall so weekends would consist of just the routine stud work and would be shared between the team, with TOIL in the following week.  We would also be happy to consider flexible working requests.

Supported by our hospital, our vets are able to attend regular, informal CPD with our specialists consisting of imaging, hospital, M+M rounds, and case discussions.  Bell Equine also provides access to excellent facilities for referral consisting of MRI, CT and scintigraphy to name a few.  Our purpose-built RCVS accredited Hospital has been awarded “Outstanding” in all 5 PSS Awards.

To enquire for further details, or for just an informal chat, please contact Emma Cooper, Head of Ambulatory, on 07824 771698.
