Chief Veterinary Officer
CVS Group plc is delighted to invite applications for our Chief Veterinary Officer role.
As a key member of the executive committee, the successful applicant will ultimately be responsible for ensuring we deliver on our purpose of providing the best possible care for animals. This will include advising the executive committee and members of the board on any matters pertaining to clinical practice, as well as ensuring the group maintains its clinical focus in all its decisions. Aligned to this the CVO also leads our group statistician in overseeing our extensive research grant programme, and in the delivery of clinical research across the group. Our Chief Veterinary Nursing Officer reports into the CVO, and as such they are expected to champion the role of the veterinary nurse, and ensuring the continual development of the careers of our fantastic nurses cross CVS.
