SPECIALIST IN VETERINARY ANAESTHESIA AND ANALGESIA

We are excited to invite applications for a Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (DipECVAA or DACVAA) to join our supportive and collaborative team. We will also consider applications from post-residency candidates.  Part-time options are available.

As an ECVAA Residency Training Centre within a large, multidisciplinary hospital, we manage a varied and challenging caseload, including emergencies. The role therefore includes participation in the on-call rota.

You will be joining a fantastic anaesthesia team of five ECVAA Diplomates, three ECVAA Residents, and a group of exceptional Registered Veterinary Nurses and Patient Care Assistants. We are looking for a colleague who is not only clinically excellent, but also kind, emotionally resilient, and a genuine team player. Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a large, specialist-led multidisciplinary referral hospital, providing services across the South of England.


Our services include Anaesthesia and Analgesia (including chronic pain management), Cardiology, Dentistry, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopaedics and Soft Tissue Surgery.

The hospital is an ISFM gold-standard Cat Friendly Clinic and a Dog's Trust Dog Friendly Clinic, and is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art facilities.

Location

The hospital has excellent transport links, just 50 minutes by train to London, and convenient access to major airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Southampton), the port of Southampton, and motorway networks.
