We are looking for two part-time Veterinary Receptionists to join our fantastic team at Castle Vets Farm (Malton).

The right candidate will be efficient, an extremely good communicator and will not be overwhelmed by a busy and demanding reception desk.  These are newly created positions and you will therefore have the opportunity to build a relationship with local farmers and support growth of the practice. Proven customer services skills and empathy is essential to ensure we retain and gain clients. We currently have three vets working onsite and we are looking to increase the team by recruiting two additional receptionists.

 The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines and stay focused under pressure.
• Outstanding telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy

Initially the role will be Monday to Friday 22 hours per week, but as the practice grows some Saturday mornings might become desirable. This position is paid at National Minimum Wage
