Veterinary Receptionist - Attimore Veterinary Group

We are supportive tier 3 small animal hospital based in Welwyn Garden city, which is comprised of a friendly and supportive staff. We also emphasise staff development and support across our 3 smaller branches based in Potters Bar, Woolmer Green and Wheathampsted. All of our sites have free, convenient parking and our modern hospital is fully air conditioned. 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team here at Attimore. 

This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week.

As a receptionist you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients and their animals.  You will need to be able to work well within a team, sometimes under high pressure.

Previous veterinary receptionist experience would be preferable but not essential. As branch cover is needed for this position, a driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.


Main duties would include:

  • Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests.
  • Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries.
  • Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable.
  • Cleaning duties are involved.
