Service & Support Technician - MiLab Harleston

MiLab Diagnostics is dedicated to providing a quality diagnostic service to the veterinary profession. We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our servicing and installation team, which will involve a combination of field based and laboratory duties.

You must be able to demonstrate an organised and thorough approach to your work. Previous laboratory experience or working in a veterinary practice environment would be advantageous, however not essential as full training will be provided.  Experience of computer systems, proven manual dexterity, good organisational skills and a conscientious and methodical approach to work is essential.

Please Note: Travelling to veterinary practices in UK, Ireland and Netherlands is required for this field based role, 

This is a full time position where you will be required to work 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours a week.  Salary will be circa £19,000 per annum.

 Key Responsibilities are:

  • Field based analyser installations, servicing and training (these may occasionally be requested at short notice and can be at different locations across the country).
  • Telephone Support to our client base covering both technical and laboratory based queries.
  • Representing and attending industry events throughout the year to promote the company.
  • Customer training.
  • Laboratory based skills including chemistry and haematology.
  • Trouble shooting of all Milab equipment and understand/identify client needs.
  • Basic IT Support for our own computer software.
