Patient Care Assistant - Bridge Veterinary Group

Bridge Vets has been working in Middlesbrough for over 25 years. We also have branches in Hartlepool and Billingham with the hospital being easily found in Middlesbrough. We are a 9 vet dedicated small animal practice with a wide variety of interests and expertise.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Patient Care Assistant to complement our friendly and supportive team at Bridge Veterinary Group. You will work alongside a team of vets and nurses, ensuring that we continue to deliver excellent customer service and client care.

The working hours a week will be 40 hours a week, (8am-7pm) with 1:3 Saturdays 8-12.30. 

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Nursing care to patients.
  • Preparation of emergency and operating facilities.
  • Helping with taking care of our patients, including: cleaning accommodations, feeding and walking.
  • Engaging and helping our lovely clients on reception.
  • Assisting the vet and nurses with animal handling.
  • Running internal lab samples.
  • Providing a friendly, efficient and effective service to clients.
