Practice Site:

MiNightVet - Canterbury

Are you looking for a new clinical challenge whilst maintaining a fantastic work life balance?

We may have just the role for you within our MiNightVet Canterbury team!

MiNightVet Canterbury is a dedicated OOH service based within Barton Veterinary Hospital. We are due to launch in January 2021 and we are looking for passionate and enthusiastic OOH vets to be a part of this!

We provide first class emergency care, working through the night and at weekends to ensure that all patients that come through the doors are treated with the same urgency and care as we would treat our own pets. We also provide hospitalisation and in-patient care for the surrounding practices.

This role will be weekend only, meaning you'll be working up to 26 weekends per year, and up to 6 Bank Holidays per year. Our shifts are:

  • Saturdays – 12:00 to 19:00
  • Sundays – 08:00 to 19:00
  • Bank Holidays – 08:00 to 19:00

This would be a fantastic opportunity for those wanting to experience the buzz of an ECC caseload, but perhaps doesn't fancy working nights! A great work life balance is on offer here, as well as:

  • A competitive salary
  • Structured support and development of your clinical skills with the potential for support in gaining a fully funded certificate in ECC
  • Opportunity to join our Sharesave scheme, allowing you to buy shares in our business
  • All of your professional fees paid
  • Company pension scheme
  • Colleague discount on pet products and treatments
  • Other flexible benefits such as Cycle to Work, Gymflex, Perkbox and more!
