MiNightVet - Canterbury

Are you a night owl that thrives on an emergency caseload?

Would you like a new challenge that gives you a great work life balance?

If the answer is yes, then we have the role for you within our MiNightVet team!

MiNightVet Canterbury is a dedicated OOH service based within Barton Veterinary Hospital. We are due to launch in January 2021 and we are looking for passionate and enthusiastic OOH Registered Veterinary Nurses to be a part of this!

We provide first class emergency care, working through the night and at weekends to ensure that all patients that come through the doors are treated with the same urgency and care as we would treat our own pets. We also provide hospitalisation and in-patient care for the surrounding practices.

Work life balance is important to all of us here at MiNightVet, and we work on a rota to ensure we can all make the most of our time off!

As an OOH RVN for us, you will be working:

  • 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off (19:00 to 08:00)
  • 1 in 6 weekend day shifts (Saturday 12:00 to 19:00 & Sunday 08:00 to 19:00)
  • Occasional bank holiday day cover, usually 1 or 2 a year (08:00 to 19:00)

And in return, we can offer:

  • An excellent, highly competitive salary
  • Structured support and development of your clinical skills with the potential for support in gaining a fully funded certificate in ECC.
  • Opportunity to join our Sharesave scheme, allowing you buy shares in our business
  • All of your professional fees paid
  • Company pension scheme
  • Colleague discount on pet products and treatments
  • Other flexible benefits such as Cycle to Work scheme, Perkbox, Gymflex and more!
