Axiom Veterinary Laboratories are a busy diagnostic pathology facility servicing a large group of veterinary practices across the country.  The laboratory in Newton Abbot is responsible for processing chemistry, endocrinology, haematology, microbiology, immunology and molecular diagnostics.

We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant to join our Biohaem team at our Newton Abbot Laboratory. The successful candidate will be involved in digital cytology as well as other laboratory duties. This is a permanent position and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00. 

The role would suit somebody looking for an opportunity to work in a busy commercial veterinary laboratory. Good communication and organisational skills, high attention to detail, fine motor dexterity, IT knowledge and a strong work ethic are essential attributes.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided on all laboratory procedures.
