An exciting opportunity has arisen in our business for an individual to take on the role of Farm Practice Manager at Severn Edge Farm Vets.

This varied and exciting role requires a dynamic, self-motivated and confident person with a wide range of skills.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Farm Practice, working closely with the Clinical Directors to ensure that the farm department runs efficiently and achieve our objective of delivering exceptional farm animal veterinary care.

Experience in the veterinary sector is desirable, however not essential. A working knowledge/interest in livestock, farming and the associated industry would be beneficial as would be a L-SQP or willingness to work towards. The successful candidate will have previous management experience and be an inspirational leader, as well as a resourceful and open minded individual with great problem solving capacity.

The practice manager has responsibility for human resources, business development and marketing, practice finances and budgeting, debt control, premises management and health and safety as well as general office administration. You will have exceptional IT, organisational and planning skills in order to help the progression of our practice.  An ability to build rapport with others is essential.

This is a fixed term 12 month maternity cover, which will be a full time position based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire working 40 hours per week 8:30-17:30. Some Saturdays 8:30-12pm will be required on a rota basis.

Some travel to other branches may be necessary as well as attending meetings away from the practice when required.
