We have an exciting opportunity for a Dual Account Manager to join Vet Direct & Buying Groups!


Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Provide Account Management, consultancy and product training to New and Existing Vet Direct practices selling internal and external brands and services to support Buying group income.
  • Drive Sales of Vet Direct products into CVS practices.
  • Retain current members through providing a high level of service - providing the members with strategies and action plans that make a demonstrable difference to the success of their practice by sharing knowledge and recommendations on current and future internal and external service partners.
  • Proactively seeks new customers and buying group members for the business, creating a strong bond with the consumer practice to gain trust and understanding of their business needs.
  • Respond positively to changes made and ensure understanding of the reasons behind decisions; take an active role in change implementation.
  • Taking full responsibility for own learning by keeping up to date on current veterinary affairs, product developments.
  • Takes action to address current issues and considers, develops and implements solutions that are based on what is best for the territory and company long-term.

Key skills required:

  • Experience of working within a clinical veterinary position preferable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with IT literacy, especially of Office, Excel and customer record or practice management system.
  • Proven sales experience either direct to pet owner or to veterinary practice
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work alone and as a team in a fast changing and competitive environment
  • Empathetic approach to customers and colleagues
  • Full UK driving licence
