Administrator - Valley Pet Crematorium

We are looking for an Administrator with excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail to join our team at Valley Pet Crematorium near Exeter. This is a permanent, part-time position working 20 hours per week in the afternoons from Tuesday to Friday and 4 hours on a Saturday morning.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Taking clients wishes face to face and over the telephone for their pets'
  • Receiving deceased pets into our care.
  • Carrying out clients wishes such as taking a paw print or a fur clipping
  • Processing payments and generating invoices for direct customers and veterinary customers.
  • Checking/preparing ashes prior to them being returned to the family/veterinary surgery, to ensure all wishes have been carried out.
  • Knowledge of Sage or Microsoft NAV would be beneficial but is not essential.

Due to the sensitive nature of our business, we are looking for someone who is kind, compassionate, friendly and confident. You will be required to speak to owners of deceased pets and give time and support where needed, always acting in a courteous and empathetic manner.
